Notable Foreign Relationships:
France- Due to recent political problems and tensions, their once strong relationship has quickly spiraled into a sour one. Post 20th & 21st Centuries, it could be described as a one-sided love affair with Romania revolving her ideas around his own and basically looking up to him for everything.
Serbia- The only neighbor she will truly tolerate, Romania deeply cares for Serbia Even if she uses his affairs for her own gain. However, she tries not to meddle in his problems unless necessary in which she will try to negotiate some sort of agreement between parties (though she sides with him a good percentage of the time).
Moldova- Her son who she supports in his independence but would prefer if he came back home. Romania is usually the only one who comes to his aid when he needs it.
Russia- If you want to see sparks fly, put these two in the same room as each other. Romania and Russia constantly disagree on everything and always find ways to accuse the other of 'working against them'. Oddly enough, he was one of the very, very few who had helped Romania in her quest for independence.
Bulgaria & Hungary- Both her neighbors and both whom she is civil to to some degree. Bulgaria is considered her 'partner' in the EU and, besides the 2nd Balkan War, they have had a good friendship since the Medieval Ages (They were such rebellious little punks.). He is subjected to Romania's constant blame for when things go wrong for them in the EU.
Hungary also faces the Romanians bickering, but knows to fight back. These two have had a rough history over territory (Read as; Transylvania) but have actually been working together to become more friendly towards one another.
